Garni Flurida – Enjoy the freshness of summer

Here you can hike, discover the Ladin culture or have fun with the whole family in the beautiful unspoilt nature of Alta Badia.

Hiking, rock climbing, bike trips, culture and traditions, and much, much more...

There are countless opportunities for leisure, exploration and entertainment in Alta Badia. The Dolomites that surround us are a paradise not only for hikers, but also for rock climbers or fans of via ferratas. The Tridentina ferrata of Pisciadù, to mention just one, is an exciting adventure we encourage you to try out.
For those of you who prefer more leisurely activities, we suggest the “Path of the Larch Trees” (Tru di lersc) in San Cassiano, or a walk in La Val to the church of Santa Barbara.
For those who want to take things really easy, the Santa Croce chairlift will take you to the Sanctuary of La Crusc. A magical place situated beneath the walls of Sas dla Crusc (Sasso di Santa Croce).
For families with children, we suggest the adventure park in Colfosco, where your youngsters can walk from one tree to another along suspended paths.
Are you a bike fan? The Dolomite passes, such as the Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Passo Campolongo or Passo Falzarego, are a magnet for many cyclists. Not by chance is the “Maratona dles Dolomites”, the mythical event which attracts thousands of enthusiasts, held here. If you prefer mountain bikes, you still have lots of opportunities and there are various special downhill paths, such as the descent of the Passo Gardena trail.
If you love culture, we suggest you to visit the “Ciastel de Tor” museum in San Martino in Badia, dedicated to the Ladin culture or the Reinhold Messner museums dedicated to the mountain at Plan de Corones or Brunico.
During the summer, many folklore events take place in our valley, where you can taste the local delicacies and see the beautiful traditional Ladin costumes.
